THE SHOW MUST GO ON
a great success!
Take Away Theatre celebrated 20 years of contemporary Greek-Australian theatre with their latest production, The Show must go on.
With a star-studded cast including Gold Logie nominee, Dancing with the Stars winner and Home and Away favourite, Ada Nicodemou, Take Away Theatre’s new show dazzled.
This hilarious satire of a struggling theatre company is a retrospective of past shows and all the backstage angst of putting on a play.
Take Away Theatre brought to front stage the obstacles, the personal tragedies and the larger than life characters that have been a part of the company’s 20-year history.
Kathi Kokori, an original Take Away Theatre visionary, worked with a dedicated group of TAT members to write and direct this anniversary production.
The show acknowledger and celebrated the hundreds of people who have been the guardians and custodians of the company, who have dedicated their time, energy, creativity, nurturing, and support and most importantly their love and faith in the company for over 20 years
